Introduction: To maintain a competitive edge, organizations are beginning to underline the importance of individual effectiveness in achieving corporate goals. The demand for individuals who function beyond the ordinary level is on the increase.

The Choose to Make a Difference Seminar, based on the book, Choose to Make a Difference is designed to enhance individual excellence

Specifically, participants will develop their leadership skills by gaining knowledge of how to balance development of people with task achievement, improve their assertiveness in relationships and build their communication skills; to make a difference.

OBJECTIVES
At the end of the seminar, participants will have a better understanding of how to:

• Enhance Commitment to Service

Content:

Module 1. Appreciating Your Power of Choice (4 hours)
Unit 1. Make a Difference: The Choice is Yours
Unit 2. Utilising the power of the Intelligences
Unit 3. Achieving and Elevating Selflessness in organisations
Module 2. The Art of Winning Inside (14 hours)
Unit 1. I Choose to Know Who I Am and Continuously Improve
Unit 2. I Choose to Focus on My Maximum Attainable Level
Unit 3. I Choose to be Principled
Unit 4. I Choose to Lead My Emotions and Do the Right Things
Unit 5. I Choose to be an Excellent Steward
Unit 6. I Choose to Think about What I Think About
Module 3. The Art of Winning Outside (12 hours)
Unit 1. I Choose to Consider People as More Important than Tasks
Unit 2. I Choose to Behave Assertively to Make a Difference
Unit 3. I Choose to Communicate to Make a Difference

Duration:The minimum recommended duration for the 3 modules of 13 Units is 30 hours. However, you can select specific modules or units based on your specific needs and time available. We advise that module one be taken as an essential requirement for other sessions.
For better interaction, each participant is encouraged to read a copy of the book ahead of the seminar. The author will supervise the seminar presentation. He will also facilitate an appreciable part of the seminar. The presentation will involve the use of relevant case studies and the Choose to Make a Difference workbook.

For whom:
Lower level to senior management executives in any industry. The delivery will be modified to suit the needs of each group and the industry.
Fees will be based on the scope of need of each organization.
